$350.00 + $25.00 s&h
All the locks of our flintlock pistols and muskets are removed and checked from the inside as well as the outside for good function. The frizzens are case hardened to ensure a nice spark and the breech is drilled with a 3/32" vent hole.
As a value added service we will "breakdown" the lock, polish and harden certain internal components to speed lock performance and reliability. This added service is $50.00
India flintlock musket and pistols are not proofed by the country of manufacture nor is there a U.S. standard for muzzle loaders to proof by.
We do offer a test firing service using a double black powder charge and a double ball load. This is an additional service and you can read more about it on the Q & A page.
We warranty our locks for one year parts and labor. Abuse of the lock (heavy rust and amateur tinkering) will void the warranty. All you need to do is get it here. Be sure to contact us for instructions before you send it in.

The wheel lock, flintlock and percussion pistol was widely used among military troops and civilians for centuries. Cavalry pistols for horsemen, Holster pistols for officers, Naval pistols during close range use by privateers and the like, and Civilian pistols common for those who lived in cities or traveled needing personal protection.
The blunderbuss was a short muzzle loading firearm with a barrel typically less than two feet in length. Becoming more common around the 1600's and gaining popularity with travel due to highway robbery in the 1700's. For the military they became useful to clear a deck when boarding another ship but also were used by infantry for sentry duty.
flintlock pistols and blunderbuss are LIVE FIRING historical
reproductions for shooting or the living historians portraying a specific person, place and time.
